They provide a wealth of experience, knowledge, and viewpoints to SJMC students, which is reflected in the awards they have won, positions held in national and international organizations and their roles as editors, editorial board members and contributors to the top journals.
This mix of historical, psychological, sociological, legal, philosophical, and even physiological perspectives fuels the innovative approach of the SJMC curriculum. Also, more than 30 adjunct instructors, drawn directly from the Twin Cities’ vibrant media community, bring expertise to our professional tracks in journalism and strategic communication.
