Stacie Mariette

Stacie Mariette graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2000 with her B.A. in Journalism-Public Relations. She’s glad to be back in Murphy Hall continuing to enrich her professional life through the Strategic Communications M.A. program. She looks forward to interacting with the rest of the cohort and gaining insight to broaden and deepen her communications knowledge. She is married, with two dogs, and currently lives in Golden Valley.

Professional background
In her work in the Employee Communications Department at Best Buy’s headquarters, Stacie uses a variety of channels, including print, online and video, to communicate with employees around the world. She has a particular interest in creating a strong internal brand and company culture, in turn leading to a powerful and competitive customer experience. Her position currently has her playing both creative and strategic roles and she enjoys that variety of tasks in her day-to-day work.
