Graduate Studies

Peter Gloviczki

I grew up in Rochester, Minnesota and attended St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. While at St. Olaf, I worked extensively on the staff of the Manitou Messenger, St. Olaf's student-run weekly newspaper. I also had a radio show on KSTO, 93.1 FM, St. Olaf's student-radio station.

I received my B.A. in 2006, with a double-major in Political Science and Journalistic Ethics. The Center for Integrative Studies (CIS) honored me with distinction for my capstone project: Balancing Journalism and Ethics: A Handbook for College Journalists and Editors.

My hobbies include reading and writing poetry, and listening (on-line) to radio stations from around the country and the world.

My academic interests include Journalistic Ethics, the ethics of new media, the way that children/teens use on-line social networks to represent themselves, and the way(s) that college and high school journalists learn about journalism.
