• Student Support Services Assistant in the Biomedical Engineering Department at the U of M.
• Has worked as a marketing manager for Benegas Trade Co. and a communications specialist for Travelers Express / Moneygram , Minnesota State Lottery and the Minnesota Department of Public Safety.
• Received a BA in journalism with a concentration in public relations from the University of St. Thomas in 1997.
• Has taken public health courses at UMN since 2004.
